Workshop Objective

By the end of the workshop, learners will be able to:

  • Translate business challenges into proper learning program.
  • Support the organization’s change management initiative.
  • Identify the right learning vendor.

Workshop Outline

This module help learners make sense of the currently reality of how business operate (VUCA), the organization’s expectation of their learning and development  today in driving the organization.

Learners will have a clearer picture of the role of learning  and adopt a more strategic perspective in their approach.

This module provide learners with an organization design framework, the Burke-Litwin model to ‘see’ interconnectivity elements of the organization and how the learning business partner can design effective learning strategies.

Learners will be introduced and use PESTLE and SWOT as strategic tools. This is done through a business simulation in our workshop.

Learners use the Balanced Score Card in prioritizing and ensuring the learning addresses business challenges, directly or indirectly.

Learners are introduced to Malcolm Knowles adult learning  principles. This provides them with insights into understanding how to get their employees to learn willingly and positively.

Learners use the Trans Theoretical Model of behavioral change to map out how their organization can support their employees make the necessary change.

This module helps the learner to  translate the business and performance challenge into learning outcome. This allow them a systematic approach to equipping their employees with the right skills.

Learners are introduced to the different learning intervention organizations employ to make learning practical and effective.

Change is the only constant. Learners will be equipped with Kotter 8-step change process so they are able to guide the organization and plan learning activities supportive of the change.

Learners look at different ways to create a positive environment to increase the success of the change program.

Learners use an objective approach to evalute the right learning vendor and trainer. This reduces the bias in the selection process.

Learners gain a structured approach in the selection process.
